Environment
Environmental issues are a high priority for the project and is a cross-cutting perspective which should permeate the project and be integrated in suitable contexts. The project has a dedicated environmental advisor to integrate this perspective in the project.
The project aims to integrate the environmental perspective in order to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the project. This can be done focusing on indirect impacts related to project outcomes and outputs in terms of how the results will have positive or less negative environmental impacts. One example of this is how development of methods related to response is carried out. A more effective coordination and aware decisions could minimise environmental impacts and make response action more effective.
